What do I need to bring with me to class?

 

You don't need to bring anything!  Breathe Pilates provides mats, all equipment and a water cooler.

What should I wear to class?

You can wear anything that is comfortable and allows you to move freely.  No shoes, bare feet work best but you are also welcome to wear socks.

How long are classes?

  

All classes - private, private group and small group classes are 55 minutes.

Do you have any drop-in group classes?

  

Breathe Pilates Studio does not offer drop in classes in order for the class to progress and clients to see their progression.  It also ensures that the class can move forward and work at a level that is safe and challenging for everyone in the class.

If I sign up for a 10-week session group class, what happens if I miss a class?

  

You are welcome to arrange up to two free makeup classes.

How many times a week should I be doing Pilates to see results?

  

Optimum would be three times a week.  Our clients combine private classes, group classes, videos and alternatively forms of strength training to suite their individual needs.

If I were to do Pilates three times a week, should I be doing other forms of exercise?

Absolutely, Pilates will provide strength training but you should also be doing cardiovascular exercise as well.

The most important thing you can do to get into shape, is enjoy what you are doing!  Make sure that your exercise regime suits you!
